AVADHUT : SIDDHA : RAVANA : JANAKA : BHARTHARI : BRAHMA : KRIYA YOGA : GYANA SANKALINI TANTRA

Q: and what about Avadhut?

Guruji: in Siddha Siddhanta Paddhati you will read that avadhuta is the highest stage of yoga.

Q: it is higher than paramahamsa?

Guruji: definitely.

Q: it requires another discipline, another way of life and practice?

Guruji: after follow a lot of discipline you will simple evolve to this level.

Q: so avadhut is not a simple sadhu, living naked?

Guruji: so far only Shiva and Dattatreya are avadhutas. Or maybe 23 tirthankars of Jainism – they also supposed to be avadhutas.

Q: Revarnath will be the 24th?

Guruji: he will be 25th. 24th is actually not Nath; 23 nathas name is attached with them and 24th was Mahavira, swami – he was not Nath and he created some organization. Before that not avadhut even had a single disciple. He created organization, but he was very high spiritually – but he was only swami, not Nath. So 25th will be Nath, Revarnath.

Q: they connected somehow with 84 siddhas?

Guruji: they are siddhas, nobody call them avadhut. But Dattatreya may be also one of them. That means – siddha can be avadhut and avadhut have siddhi also.

Q: can we say that avadhut realized sayujya state?

Guruji: for every, we can say that. In modern language you can say that the state of avadhut is the climax of evolution as human can achieve, as a human being it’s top most achieve. And it is not a religious thing, it is absolutely spiritual evolution. We have to make it clear nowadays. In Siddha Siddhanta Paddhati Gorakhnath describes it in more detail. That is the final state. He can roam freely around the world, nothing can harm him, he will not be bothered by hunger or thirst or by anything – it is considered as free state. Even this definition about paramahamsa – maybe it is recorded first time. Grass root level of India carries great wisdom. Even in villages, if somebody is dyeing or dead – they say the hamsa flew away. Hamsa gone. So paramahamsa is only for paramatma.

Many people are coming with question, why the great yogis had a short life – they are trying to say, that they may live for thousands of years etc. but what I say: no matter if you live for 25 years or you live for 25000 years – it is only one lifetime, no matter how long or short it is. And the beauty is – what are you able to express in that one lifetime. Some yogis – they are so great that they use their mind to utmost capacity and express things in 20 years what a man, living 25000 years simply can not express. We will have to consider that very seriously and very deeply, that a lifetime is a lifetime. Long or short, absolutely different – and how you can express in that – that is important.

Gyana Sankalini Tantra

Q: brahma chakra is most auspicious; to help of her sadhaka attains all vidyas?

Guruji: Brahma I think take it as your mind or brain. So the mind chakra, the brain inside your skull: if you’re able to activate it – you will learn everything you have to learn.

Q: what do you think of it: Shiva chakra is the purest and giving the result of all other chakras?

Guruji: Shiva chakra is the Time inside your body.

Time is all pervading, Time is everywhere, and your body is nothing but the sentence of Time – it represents particular time thing. That time frame is called Shiva chakra. If you will use it wisely and will act accordingly – Time will bless you and give you great wisdom, whatever there is – you will get it.

Q: if think logically, Vishnu chakra is the space?

Guruji: Vishnu chakra is about different things. Shiva chakra is your body: you can call it Kalachakra also. Body is the sentence of particular frame of Time, it’s time limit.

It’s very big confusion about the word “brahma”. For me that is a very simple thing: many books describes that you can not see it with your eyes, it sees through your eyes, you can not smell it with your nose – it smells through your nose, ears can not hear it, but it hear through the ears and they don’t give the exploring for thousands of years for brahma. It remains unseen.

As a yogi it’s very simple. Brahma means your mind: your eyes can not see your mind, but it is seeing through the eyes. Your nose can not smell your mind – but it smells through the nose. Your tongue can not talk about it, but it talk through your tongue. If you understand, that the word “brahma” is actually the mind – then everything becomes so simple. In Brahma sutras it is said, that after doing everything, learning every book, then the question come – who is learning? Then the discussion on mind begins. No matter what you do – you do it with your mind. Mind is a doer of everything and it remains unseen.

Q: why in Brahma sutras it is said that brahma lives in the eye and in the sun?

Guruji: it lives in the eye, because only with the eyes if there is no light you can’t see anything. It is the expression of that. Sun is your solar plexus and your apana. Only with the help of apana the brahma remains inside the body. The day apana leaves it – all is over.

Q: why the word akasha and the word prana should be understand as brahma?

Guruji: everything is brahma. Akash remains untouched and unseen, but it I there – it is a simile towards brahma. You can not see it, you can not touch it, – but it is there.

Q: 6 chakras, 16 adharas, 3 goals, 5 spaces and 12 knots on the way of three nadis: what are 3 goals here?

Guruji: knowing yourself, knowing the Creator and understanding the Creation – these are three main things.

Q: what could be the 12 knots here?

Guruji: 12 is a common unit of time, year consists of 12 months. In India we have 6 seasons – most of the seasons are of two months. 12 is a unit of time which everybody goes through. It is connected with time. In every calendar the year consists of 12 months – no matter, lunar or solar, but it always 12. These are the knots inside time.

Jiva is Shiva – it is inside the body, and body is chakra which He lives inside.

It is very ancient believe among hindus, that when a child is inside a mother in a womb – he is as good as a yogi, because he is not breathing through his nose, he’s not eating anything, he’s like in Samadhi – he remembers most of his past lives also, and he is considered as a yogi. And when he takes birth and the cord is cut and he begins to breathe through his nose himself – then that state of mind is lost. Then he will have to work very-very hard to achieve that again. Or – very simple from my point of view – another birth and no problem, so relax( laughing).

Why the whole hindu religion based on rebirth? Our last rituals makes it sure that the person take another birth. Maybe this taking another birth is for go through this experience again and again.

Q: steady mind without external support, steady breath without restrain, steady seen without looking – that is result of yoga?

Guruji: yes, this is effect of khechari mudra. Steady breath without restrain is kevala kumbhaka. When you’re not doing puraka, inhalation, exhalation – the breath stops. Like when the body is like a pot: it is not breathing, but the air remains inside – it is indication towards this state.

Q: like a child or a fool’s mind drifts in sleeping dream even without actually been asleep- so the man, who wanders similarly without support – knows Shambhavi mudra?

Guruji: yes. It is general observation that mind keeps on hanging on some object, some imagination, some thought. When you don’t need any object for your mind to hang on – then it is the being of the shambhavi mudra and the first thing they’ve already stated: without kevala kumbhaka or breath stopping inside mind will not be at that state. It is step by step progressive thing. Is this from Gyana Sankalini tantra?

Q: yes. Threedandins are devotees of practice of Vedas: Charvakas are don’t believe in gods. Who are them?

Guruji: it’s another school of philosophy in India – charvakas. The very famous aphorism from Charvaka himself: he is also considered as rishi in India – you see, how it proves how open-minded are Indians about different thoughts. He sais: as long as you live – live happily. Even you need to borrow money to drink ghee – do it, because after death the body will become like ashes: who comes or who doesn’t comes – who cares for that? I think almost every hindu knows it. And someone even trying to practice it – who cares, what will happen?

Q: they describes five qualities of earth, of water, but they describes sleep, hunger, thirst, fatigue and idleness like the five qualities of fire?

Guruji: I think it is correct statement. Don’t take it literally – fire is very symbolic word. Fire of love, fire of anger, fire of life. When it is less fire, less life force – you just lie down without doing anything.

Janaka

Q: but Janaka also was a king?

Guruji: Janaka may be immortal. He was father-in-law of Lord Rama – and there is no reference, what happened with him after. But in Mahabharata time we read that Vyasa muni sent his son Shukadev to Janaka for wisdom: but it maybe 2 million years apart – Janaka was still living there.

Q: and Bhartahari was a king too, he’s also immortal.

Guruji: he lived 3,5 thousands years before. Immortality is such an attractive dream. But we all know, that spirit is immortal – so what’s the problem?

It is nearly impossible to find a good doctor. Maybe they are great philosophers: they already know that life is fickle, it is not permanent, it’s temporary thing – so when they realize this, they try to extract so much many as possible.

In Ayurveda it is recorded that raja Bali used sulfur and became immortal by its use. That’s why the one of the names of sulfur is balivasa – fat of Bali.

Q: who had the longer life – Bali or Ravana?

Guruji: Bali was born before Ravana. Bali is much more older. He has longer life and he is chiranjivi – he will live eternal life.

Q: he is immortal or very long living?

Guruji: he is called chiranjivi – ever-living. It is recorded that Ravana was defeated by children of Bali. Also Kartavirya Arjuna defeated Ravana, Valin – the elder brother of Sugriva – defeated him, and when Ravana went to attack Sutala, where Bali lived – he was defeated by Bali’s small children. Only three times he was defeated. And all that three times his grandfather Pulastya came and rescued him.

Q: you remember the story when Ravana came to Bali when Bali was the prisoner of Vishnu?

Guruji: when king Bali donated all three worlds – Vishnu went there as the very short Brahmin. That’s why in our parampara it is said – never take land in donation. You will ever be able to digest that. Vishnu lost most of his things and had to stay guard for at least 4 month every year.

Q: so Ravana was not defeated by Vishnu ?

Guruji: never.

Q: Bali was asura?

Guruji: no, he was daitya, son of Kashyapa rishi. Mother’s name was Diti. The sons of Diti was called daityas – giants. Daityas and danavas were very pure people and raja Bali is known for his truthfulness and his tapas.

Q: and Ravana was rakshasa?

Guruji: the mother was rakshasa, but the father was rishi, Vaishravana. He was Brahmin and son of the rishi. But he became king of all rakshasas by his maternal grandfather power.

Q: daityas are on the higher level?

Guruji: they are bigger and they are very powerful. They say that Sutala loka is only one billion time more beautiful than heaven.

MYSTIC SHOT

Towards my disciples from Gwalior, she fainted unconscious and was crying about me, my name. I reach there and I pull the face from their skull and pull it away. From those ghost. Just like that and they are gone.

Q: who was Janaka? Why he is so famous?

Guruji: he was very accomplished man- we just discussed him. I believe that he is also immortal or very long-lived person. He is famous as very accomplished yogi and he was father-in law of Lord Rama. It was nearly 2 million years before. In Mahabharata time Vyasa sent his son to him for some teaching – he continue to live that long. There is absolutely no record of how he died or what happened with him. We look it up very deeply but there is no record. And another point: no records of foster parents of Krishna, Nanda and Yashoda. No records, what happened with them. They might be still living here.

Q: Janaka could belong to Nath tradition, like Bharthari?

Guruji: it is very much possible because yoga is supposed to be the only way which can made the mortal man immortal.

Q: Bharthari got different name after initiation?

Guruji: one of his names is Vairagya Nath. Only two names – Bharthari Nath and Bairag Nath is connected with him. But he attain immortality before he became a yogi, with the fruit of immortality. Now – thanks to Atmanath – we are aware of his lineage.

Kriya Yoga

Q: what Kriya yoga is for?

Guruji: I will say as a Kriya yogi myself that  Kriya yoga or yoga – for that matter, hatha yoga- the main aim of it is to know your spirit, which is immortal substance inside your physical body: physical body which is a combination of five elements and it is spirit which keep them together as long as it wants to keep it. Spirit come from the other side and after physical death it goes to the other side.

So the main aim of yoga or Kriya yoga is to make your spirit your friend and, because spirit is from the other side – the spirit will tell you so many things, it will give you great wisdom from the other side which simply reading some books never will give. First true experience will come only through your own spirit. When the yogi reaches the certain level, after he has found the good Guru, who is really well-wisher to the seeker, he guides him to a certain level – to the level the spirit becomes a genuine friend of the yogi; then we say – the spirit becomes a Guru and the mind become a disciple. The real learning and the real wisdom begin from that point.

And again I will say – some people may like it, some people may not like it – even seeing god face to face is part of yourself realization. After seeing god face to face you will say: yes, I have seen god. It will become part of your self-realization and the thing needed now is to think very deeply on this word – self-realization.

The more you will discover yourself – the more you will realize yourself.

Many people, especially modern people – they approaches that they are just after learning different technics. As a yogi I will say that yoga demands very strict discipline and yogic way of life. Until unless you will live yogic way of life – simple knowing the technic will not give you much result. Receiving the technic is one thing; and then you need very strict discipline and yogic way of life to master that. Only mastering certain yoga ways will enable you to realize your own spirit and then after both it will become your friend.

Q: what does it mean: yogic way of life?

Guruji: yogic way of life is: I will practice it all my life to the best of my ability, I will keep it a secret – because it is not a knowledge for a common man, who doesn’t want even to know about it – why you should go out and tell them these things? All general knowledge is available, if he is a seeker – he will try to find it.

Also reading 1 part of Bhagavad Gita every day is very important, because Gita is a book on yoga, which is written under every chapter. And also the basic character of a yogi is known that he respect a married woman, who is married to another man like a mother – because that woman will be the mother of that particular family for generations and generations. I don’t think anybody would like to know or will be very happy to hear that his grandmother was in affairs with several people. I don’t think – even for very liberated people it may not be a good feeling to know that.

And also I think it is a good discipline in the society – at least a yogi should care this much for the society. This is yogic way of life.

In almost books on the religion – it means on every religion – we read about that god created this, god created that, the whole creation was created by god – but I’ve never come across any account that god created a souls or spirits. We need to do some research, who created souls. It is nowhere mentioned, and the true nature of soul is also nowhere mentioned: that’s why yoga becomes even more important. Yoga is the only way which will make you realize your own soul.
