PHILOSOPHY

What is philosophy? As I see from grassroot level: philosophy is the libido of impotent man.

BREATH and MIND

Q: mind and prana are merged together: when one of them stops – stops and another one; if prana stops – then the streams of thoughts also stops. The question is: what is the cause and what is the sequence? What stops first?

Guruji: they said that the activity of your mind is directly connected with the rate of your breathing. Prana is very difficult to affect directly and understand, how prana works. But we’re able to control our breath; so if you somehow regulate your breathe -your thoughts, your mind will also become very regular. And then as you progress in that and start to experience breathless condition – that will be the time when the mind will stop absolutely: that is conscious mind.

When conscious mind will stop absolutely – you will have some access to your subconscious mind. Simply stopping the mind, which is conscious mind, is not only goal – it’s a stepping stone to go deeper into that. Start with the breath.

Everybody says: stop the mind, control the mind – then what? After controlling the mind they keep forgetting that what control they’re gaining is on conscious mind only, which is hardly 2%. That control will grant you the access to the vast ocean of subconsciousness. Then a very mysterious and very adventurous journey will begin.

Q: when the real relationship with prana and apana starts? We can stop the breath to the certain limit, but?

Guruji: only by knowing their essence these things may happen.

Q: could we say that during yoga practice we start to communicate with them?

Guruji: all mudras and all pranaayamas are taught  for this aim: that one day you will have kevala kumbhaka – the breathless condition and your mind will stop and you will have access to your subconscious mind: this is the ocean of the knowledge, wisdom and all experiences – vast ocean of consciousness, all mysterious.

Q: so the little understanding of prana and apana starts from the kevala kumbhaka?

Guruji: this control is not a good thing: friendly relationship is the best way

Q: but that friendly relationship starts from the kevala kumbhaka?

Guruji: from regulating your breath, from the day one

Q: so even if we do not very long kumbhak

Guruji: no, the regulation of the breath – we’re not talking about the stopping

Q; so every time we do something with the prana?

Guruji: every day something new will happen

Q: during kevala kumbhaka the conscious mind stops; but subconscious is moving?

Guruji: no, breathless condition, not kumbhak: in kumbhak you’re trying to hold it as much as it’s possible. When your breath became so regulated that mind start to be regulated as well; then your breathing will be much – much slower; and then some gap will appear – 1 minute, 2 minutes, which you will not even feel like a gap; then breathless condition will start and something new will happen as well.

Q: how this explanation could be connected with chitta vritti nirodhah?

Guruji: same thing; in second sutra they say: tada drastuh swarupeavasthanam – when the seer is establish in his own – that is about.

Q: so chitta vritti nirodhah is about conscious mind? The conscious mind stops?

Guruji: then only you will  access the subconscious. It’s not about mind in all totality: it is only about 2% conscious mind.

WISDOM IS THE ENTERTAINMENT OF THE WISE

Q: what is Your opinion about the thought that with much wisdom comes much sorrow?

Guruji: I think, those people who were depressed to begin with for knowledge – they just found sorrow; and my observation is: wisdom is the entertainment of the wise. Every new wisdom and new experience brings absolute entertainment and entertainment gives you a certain state of the mind.

Q: personally You have not experienced the sadness or…

Guruji: no, I enjoy every emotion

Q: experiences of the world – you see  the same things happening already?

Guruji: you continue to see the same things – but there is always a new flavour.

Q: so it’s the same thing with new flavour?

Guruji: no, from generalisation it may look like same thing, but nature has not created everybody as equal or same; that’s why our fingerprints are very different, even the blade of grass is different than another blade. So no matter if the general situation is appearing as similar, but the emotion, the reaction, and the total outcome will always be different.

Q: the wisdom You took out the experiences are not becoming Your burder?

Guruji: no, not at all! As they say that: water first drops on the mountain top, then flows down and finally flowing down mix with the ocean. The negative point is that when the downfall begins – there is no limit to it. I’m saying: when the water reaches the bottom of the thing, merge with the ocean; then the Guru – Sun – gives them rays, and with the fire of the tapas water becomes lighter and lighter and rises above the atmosphere and then comes back as rain again: that’s how we see snow on the mountain top. That is a full circle. We can just see one aspect of it: that everybody is full of sorrow. There are times – because that is the very strong emotion and you have to experience it. You cannot simply ignore it: accept it! And then finally it will turn in some sort of joy.

Q: so people not necessarily becoming wise with the years: the sadness come with the exertion?

Guruji: they were too busy showing to the general public that they’re gaining wisdom. This is what I say

Q: what is the magic filter, that filters out the sorrow?

Guruji: there is no magic filter: the moment you begin to understand sorrow – you will see the joy just standing behind it. You need to face it, don’t run away. Face it and digest in your system. When too much sorrow will be digested in your system – more sorrow will simply bounce away. And it will give you even more entertainment – when you will see sorrow dancing away, going away.

That burder I disagree absolutely: yes, bookish knowledge will burder you .

Q: that is king’s Solomon statement – that the more wisdom you get – more sorrowful you become…

Guruji: so maybe wisdom in the way – he was reading so many books: because book reading were very rare thing in those days; otherwise I disagree. The more wisdom will give you extraordinary understanding. And if your attitude is very positive – you will find joy everywhere.

Q: the pointed people: it doesn’t mean they are stupid – but the people, whose features, feelings and emotions are too straight forward…

Guruji: they are good

Q: it’s easier for them to process all the wisdom?

Guruji: I think they are wise in their own right, most of them I’ve come across. Every single person I’ve come across was able to give me some sort of wisdom. We cannot say that wisdom is copyright of only the wise, if you remain like a sponge – you keep absorbing wisdom coming from all directions. But you will be never burder by it.

Q: what about the distinguish wisdom from the experiences?

Guruji: experience becomes different

Q: in some people

Guruji: mostly! Bookish reading is not wisdom – it’s just education, you’re getting more information; but when some ideas begin to take form out of the information  – then it becomes wisdom.

ATIT GHAT and DNA

Q: maybe You have some ideas how the Atit Ghat exactly working with DNA: it’s unpacking something or it is changing something?

Guruji: first I think it will begin with your mind; most of the memory will work them out: they will remain – but you will not remember them.

And same thing I think with DNA memory – new story will begin with this. See, most of the philosophers say: remain in the present moment; you can remain only in a present moment when all DNA memories has been erased. Then only you can establish yourself in the moment of present. No sanskar.

Q: it will be like a new cycle or circle in DNA after Atit Ghat: it will renew itself but not creating new sanskaras?

Guruji: it will erase all old sanskaras as well

Q: yes, but yogi will continue to live

Guruji: yes: that’s why they say – the sanskaras never touch a yogi: it means he’s not creating new memories at all, only getting wisdom instead of memories. Average person is getting memory – but not wisdom. This difference will always remain.

Q: by erasing our DNA memories we’re erasing our DNA limitations?

Guruji: yes, memory is the limitations.

Q: when we were children – it was no memories…

Guruji: … so Wonderland remains – everything is mystical. As long as the effect of the memory will remain on your thinking – no free thinking is possible. Erasing the memory is the very different thing; but effect of the memory should not affect your thinking. It should be very open, free.

Q: when we stop the conscious mind – only then we have the access to the subconscious mind?

Guruji: yes

Q: when we have this first experience – the first little access to the subconscious mind…

Guruji: in the next sutra they give the result also: when the seer is establish in his own

Q: when the mind is awaken on 100% – it’s the surest immortality for the practitioner?

Guruji: I think so, yes

Q: does this first experience somehow affect the body and add up to the longevity? Or first you just gain the wisdom how to do this?

Guruji: you will get wisdom, establish in this wisdom and begin to see things.

Q: so it’s not the direct result – you will just understand the way?

Guruji: yes, I’m sure. But it gives you the direct result also. And understanding of the support system. Definitely it will affect the DNA and the body.

GURUJI’S UPADESH

You must make enough kitchen money and flow with life, doing what you like best, what you want to do best. If you set the goal now – with your limited consciousness and limited development of mind- it may not be good now, because tomorrow you may start to dislike your own goal. My suggestion as a yogi: earn enough kitchen money – so you can relax: enough money will make your life easier; then flow with life. When some new opportunity comes and you will be intelligent enough to recognise it and avail it; that approach, in my opinion, is good.

Elaborating on what I just said – I’ll tell you the very old story. In olden times that was the rich businessman travelling to do business with all his caravans; and he has bag full of gold coins. Before entering the city they were all thirsty so he also went to take water from a well, he put his bag full of gold coins on the border. Accidently the whole bag fell into the well. He declared: that whoever will bring my bag – I will give him something. There was one strong man, he jumped into the well, and brought out that bag full of coins. Businessman was so happy – he wants to give him five gold coins, but the man said: you told me, you will give me something – now give me something! Even he offered to take the whole bag, he said – no, you told me to give me something – now you must give me something! The argument increases so much that they had to go to the king of the city. King heard with the great patience; then the glass – the bowl of drink was brought to the king: something was lying there. So he asked that idiot: what is in this? He said: o king, there is something in it! Ok, take it, and go away!

The point is: you should be intelligent enough to recognise the opportunity which is coming to you and avail it! The goal was: I want something – and he got something. Never think like this: think and ponder on this wisdom – and you may achieve great things!
