EGO
If somebody is trying to dominate you unnecessarily – stand up to him, face him; as they say in America – you can play the same game.
Q: what is Your opinion about ego: many people says that we must be humble, the ego must be very low – but sometimes it maybe not the very healthy process to put it down?
Guruji: ego is the only thing you have: so develop it, refine it, and take into sublime levels. And stay away from false ego: go with the core of the real ego which you have – and develop it and refine it.
Q: how we can differentiate the false ego from the true one?
Guruji: I think if you’re not intelligent enough to understand this- then there is no hope( smiling)
PROTECTION AGAINST THE DEVIL
Q: what about the bracelet You and many of Your disciples are wearing? Is it some symbol which will support in practice? Why it is on right hand?
Guruji: it will keep your mind balanced. And a balanced mind will support in whatever things you’re trying to do. To impress the hardcore
Christian – because the snake is the symbol of the devil there; so when you put the tail of the devil in its own mouth – he wouldn’t be able to mislead you by silly talks or something else: so this is to keep the devil away( smiling)
ODJAS—>AMRITA—>IMMORTALITY
Q: ojas is absorbing in the heart?
Guruji: yes, then the heart becomes extraordinary powerful and start to support your brain more than it is needed. Then your subconscious start to become conscious; then, after a long time, amrita may start to form inside your subconscious.
Q: so it is after?
Guruji: much-much later. If you’re a yogi – it may start to form simultaneously; but mostly it’s a step up program.
Q: what happened when amrita reaches the heart?
Guruji: then the whole body will transform. It make you immortal.
Q: so, as we were discussing before: ojas appears, absorbing in the heart and heart becomes very strong and support the brain, then amrita appears?
Guruji: only if subconscious has been accessed! Then, with enough yoga practice there is a possibility: amrita may start forming there.
Q: so if amrita is there – you are immortal?
Guruji: your journey towards attaining immortality will begin – if you’re able to assimilate that amrita in your system. Nothing happens automatically.
Q: amrita is not storing in the brain or in the heart?
Guruji: it is not storing: it comes; heart becomes powerful – then it supplies to every part of the body. When everything is – let’s say, overflowing – with it, you have achieved.
Q: is it possible that amrita has formed but body cannot assimilate it?
Guruji: not possible, it will never happen like this.
Q: ojas here is like….?
Guruji: major steppingstone. It will increase your consciousness to sublime levels. If you’re not intelligent enough – what you will do with that?
Q: but what is amrita?
Guruji: it maybe a certain type of hormone, which start dropping in those mysterious part of the brain.
Q: that amrita, which gods are drinking: it is metaphorical name for it?
Guruji: maybe it’s a literal fact also.
Q: but the liquid was different than that hormone from the brain?
Guruji: of course.
Q: and ojas is forming exactly in the heart?
Guruji: it is forming and stores, exactly 8 drops.
Q: and when ojas is only forming – it is really looks like a liquid?
Guruji: ayurveda says -only 8 big drops forms with the lifetime practice.
Q: but if we compare with the liquid: like a water, like a milk, like an oil?
Guruji: nobody knows that. It is not described. Maybe colourless and very different type of thing.
GURUJI ABOUT BREATH PROPORTIONS
Q: if we mix ghee with the honey in equal proportion, it becomes poison?
Guruji: it becomes artificial poison.
Q: so, proportion matters! Then the question is: could we somehow do the practice with proportion, which becomes the poison for us?
Guruji: no, we cannot compare it with ghee and honey. We’re already inside so much poison: we’re just trying to remove it.
Q: but it exists some breathe pattern which will act for the person as a poison?
Guruji: usually very shallow breath is like poison.
Q: if we increase or decrease the proportion in practice, how it will affect us?
Guruji: if you will do more than 44 seconds it will start bringing you bad luck somehow. Problems will increase. I’ve tried it – so many problems started and then my Guru told me not to do it.
Q: and if we’re starting from less proportion – 10 and 10, will it affect in a different way?
Guruji: you’re trying to reach there – it’s a different thing. That is fine, because they are new beginners. But if you’re going beyond that -then problems will begin.
If god wants you to suffer – he changing your good decisions into bad ones.
Q: Guruji, what is Your observation: who is growing old faster: who have the longer inhale or who have the longer exhale?
Guruji: who is breathing faster in a minute. Long or short – doesn’t matter.
REAL DEVOTION TO SHAKTI
We talked about Bandasura, who conquered 16 different creations, that he was a devotee of Shakti in his previous life. I answered: go back to Devi Sukta: ya Devi sarva bhuteshu chetanety abhidhiyate; o Shakti, you’re consciousness in everybody! That means – a devotee should recognize his consciousness and try to know it and try to develop it to its maximum. That is real devotion to Shakti, which he may have done in his previous life. It is not that he was singing bhajans or doing arati all the time. Go to the essence of Shakti! And then, serve it.
ABOUT THE ORIGIN OF THE DISEASES
Q: we discussed that most of the diseases are coming from the mind – but not always?
Guruji: you see, most of the diseases; but what about viral infections and bacterial attacks? They are coming from outside also.
Q: and You also mentioned that diseases may be caused by our own past karmas and by karmas of our past 7 generations?
Guruji: оf course, we’re collection of them.
Q: is it possible to overcome this karma of 7 past generations?
Guruji: yes, by practicing yoga and awakening your 7 chakras. That is the only way.
VASUDEVA
Q: in Gita is said, that Vasudeva is living in the heart in his 4-armed form; also we discussed that when we could discard our own spirit, so we will reach the source which is also in the heart – and that is Ishwar in the heart; so are they one and the same?
Guruji: they are different.
Q: so there is two forces in the heart?
Guruji: the spirit is serving inside. Ishwar is mentioned only in 18th chapter, when he is concluding Gita. Till then only spirit was discussed. Our spirit is like ghee in milk, it is everywhere. And a main source, which even gives power the spirit is in our heart.
Q: then the question is: who is Vasudeva?
Guruji: the word “Vasu” means “spirit”. Vasudeva is our own spirit. Consult Sanskrit dictionary: the word “vasu” means immortal spirit, jivatma.
Q: so when the yogin reaches the level of hridaya granthi – he starts to see his own spirit, not the Ishwar?
Guruji: from the day one, in yoni mudra – it’s your own spirit. Ishwar will take a very long time.
Q: and if we will be so lucky to see that four-armed form in the heart?
Guruji: four vents in the heart – so four arms.
Q: so it will be also our own spirit, but in another shape?
Guruji: yes. Ishwar is nowhere described.
Q: he is mentioned only in 18th chapter: why it is so?
Guruji: because only after you will go through all those things – you will become of the presence of Ishwar in your heart. And we need to read it again: the Time is saying: Ishwar is there – but remain my devotee. It’s a catch there. Only with the support of Time you will reach Ishwar; and after Ishwar what you will do: you will passing the Time.
Q: so this achievement, when we can leave our own spirit – it’s after all the three granthis?
Guruji: much- much after that. These three granthis are just like Ph.D. degree: you learning does not stop after your education is done: learning continues. It’s very complicated mysterious subject.
Q: what is Alakh Niranjan?
Guruji: who is beyond this creation, beyond carbon. He maybe Ishwar, yes.
Q: could we say that beyond our spirit which is Vasudeva, only Ishwar is?
Guruji: Ishwar is the creator of it.
Q: between them it exists other forces or steps?
Guruji: nobody knows: maybe some senior spirits.
Q: except our own spirit, it exists something like collective spirit?
Guruji: there are 7 billion plus human beings – so that much spirits are there. You cannot simply know each human being on this planet: general awareness is more than enough.
Q: the notion “mahatma” is connected somehow with the collective consciousness or collective spirit?
Guruji: mahatma supposed to be the person, who knows his spirit and has achieved some greatness: such personality is called mahatma – in hindi and in Sanskrit also.
Q: after we have achieved the level of knowing Vasudeva, communicate with our spirit or even become friends with our spirit; after that only Ishwar will remain for us to be known?
Guruji: and Time will continue to be there! Spirit will take you to Ishwar. You need introduction.
Your spirit is your god: so they have added “dev” with the “vasu”; word “vasu” in Sanskrit means jivatma – that is your immortal spirit. And general mistake is: son of Vasudeva can also be called Vasudeva: it is one of the names of Krishna also.
HOW WE DIE
In India we are saying: sudden death, no unnecessary travelling, journey, and no debts: this is considered very fortunate. This is what hindus believe.
Q: the neurons in our brain: they are somehow reproducing themselves?
Guruji: they are stop dying. I think, everything is from the brain: we become adults from childhood – because of hormones going down; when they stop going down – we start growing old; when neurons are dying – all systems are also going to decline. It will reflect on your own personality.
Q: so, first the brain – and then the body will follow?
Guruji: body is just a support system for the brain: brain is developing – then something is happening, it will update the physicality.
People are talking, that magic is superstitious, one should not believe because it’s all technic; but I think: every life is magic! Whatever we have seen – it’s magic! And we try to understand the mechanism behind it and assume – that is just a technic or something. What about life? It is a greatest magic I’ve seen. Enjoy magic!
START FROM THE BASIS
We talked about free will; as a grassroots level man my observation is: nothing comes for free, even your will. You have to pay very heavy price for developing will power. Be ready for that!
What is the use of becoming conscious of the Universe if you’re not conscious even of your own physical body? God is living in the heart, spirit is everywhere, and if you’re not aware of it – then it is useless to be aware of the Universe and having nice thoughts. Start from grassroots level, always!
Q: spirit also can be seen or felt when You’re inside the body?
Guruji: the feeling is also good as seeing. When we say the word “see” we simply mean reflection of light from a certain object. But there are other ways of seeing also: you can feel it, you can sense it, you can become aware of it – they are all as good as seeing.
Q: but it has the physical shape?
Guruji: yes, you see it in yoni mudra every day.
When you want to know about yourself and discover who you are; when you go in the process – towards creation; when you evolve more, you will realize that this is of conditioning of the body from different sources. When you will get over these conditionings- then some glamour of what you really are will start. Which may be not so glamorous.
Q: what to do with our reactions on the reactions?
Guruji: again, it’s just a conditioning of certain thoughts. Who we are – you will discover. Give it time!
Till then it’s just a romantic idea. If we say: you’re the most beautiful creation of god – our ego goes very high. And if we say: you’re just offspring of a bastard, we will feel offended, our ego will be hurt and we will be ready to kill that man. It is just conditioning from the society!
Be honest with yourself, keep on practicing, keep developing your consciousness and your mind; maybe one day you will realize who you are. Then the different chapter will begin in your life.
Always put your best foot forward, no compromise with the standard.
LIFE IS AN EXCLUSIVE CHANCE FOR DEVELOPMENT
Q: when the mind manifests itself in the different forms, when one body is destroyed and another is taken…
Guruji: you’re quoting from Gita?
Q: yes, from 2nd chapter: where consciousness goes when body is no more?
Guruji: it is like fragrance of the flower: it will continue. And then it will take another body because there is a chance to develop it even more. Physical body required of 5 elements: to develop the consciousness to its limitless limits.
Q: who decides, which body will be taken exactly?
Guruji: there are senior minds – they decide. We have a saying in hindi: everybody has a father.
Q: they decide for the spirit – or they decide for the consciousness to develop?
Guruji: they can do anything; the spirit is there just provide you with life – means a chance: to develop or not to develop. Such a fine thing: consciousness!
Q: is it possible that the consciousness is put into the body with the plan: not in this life, not in the next, but after 10 lives it will develop?
Guruji: no, there is open field everywhere. It is just like that: when genetically endowed person will join any gym, the old masters can take a look at him and say: yes, if he will work hard – he can become a champion. Only few people can say – after ten lives he will attain this or that: it’s never a general thing. Those, who are genetically endowed.
Q: in so many puranas described how devatas are trying to destroy somebody’s tapas…
Guruji: only Indra! Because he was afraid to lose his status.
Q: so nowadays this situation is no more and everyone can develop?
Guruji: they may do whatever they want. He was a very great king of gods: so instead of interfering himself he created family and society to do that( smiling)
Q: but now we cannot say that raja Bali will create the obstacles for anyone to develop?
Guruji: no, he is too great personality. We have great faith in him!
WE ARE NOT THE SPIRIT – WE ARE OUR OWN CONSCIOUSNESS
Even in vampire series there are fantastic dialogue writers: he is the very honest person. Vampire is saying: it is good to be honest! Because honesty will finally discover the truth – no matter, under how many layers it is. It is good to be honest! And I have to agree with this statement – it is absolutely right!
Those script writers are great people, I will say.
All religions are telling: god lives in the heart. If god lives in the heart and you somehow have access to it and he accepts you: you don’t need any more spirit. God will take care!
Q: very difficult to understand, how it is possible to live without spirit, because mostly we’re thinking that we are the spirit?
Guruji: we are not that spirit, we are our own consciousness. That realization that many people claim: I’m not the body, I’m the spirit – it’s not 100% true.
Q: yes: if you’re the spirit – why you decide to leave the body?
Guruji: again – that is conditioning that making them say it. For real realization you need to go beyond your conditioning. Because too many people said: I’m not the body, I’m the spirit; why they cannot keep it within?
Q: so we’re not the body, we’re not the spirit?
Guruji: we are our own consciousness. what else you are? Spirit is already immortal, god is beyond immortality even; then who is getting nirvana or moksha? Mind is getting nirvana or moksha. Beyond all discriminations and expansions of the consciousness.
REAL AWARENESS
Q: first we become aware of the Void and that the Void is conscious and then about the consciousness of the Void; only then we know the own spirit?
Guruji: much later.
Q: and the Time is in between of our own spirit and Ishwar?
Guruji: Time is everywhere. Understanding of Ishwar will come much later. First you will become conscious of your spirit and the Void, then the Time; then it will take the very long time to be comfortable with this; then you will become aware of the very great mysterious force – which we were talking in the topic of Inside the body.
Q: what is the sequence of knowing them?
Guruji: there is no sequence, it just depends on your awareness. This is not paid course, it depends on your awareness only.
Q: but when we’re trying to solve or to pierce the granthis- we couldn’t jump immediately to Rudra granthi for example?
Guruji: no, this is a different thing. When your brain is developing – you will become aware of so many things. Even though, it will take a very long time to know about them. Awareness will be there.
Q: but awareness and close relationship – they are two different things?
Guruji: close relationship will take a very long time.
Q: we also must create the friendship with the Void?
Guruji: it is the ocean of consciousness: when your consciousness is developing – you are friendly with that. The Mother of all.
Q: in the stage of development when we’re able to know the own spirit: we’re pure consciousness?
Guruji: the body remains.
Q: and we will still see kutastha?
Guruji: why not? You will see every form, which can be there.
Q: what will happen when we will be able to see Ishwar: Vasudeva will remain?
Guruji: Vasudeva will remain, but you will not depending on him or her.
Q: why amrita starts to form?
Guruji: because you work for it! The part of the brain, which is sleeping; when you wake it up: then some very mysterious substance start forming. Otherwise – it’s not possible to form.
Q: how it comes to the heart?
Guruji: now heart is supporting brain; then awaken brain will start supporting heart. Payback time. Only with more than enough practice these centres will be stimulated, started to wake up; then after very long time that substance may start forming.
Q: so heart needs two tonics simultaneously: amrita and ojas?
Guruji: without ojas nothing is going to happen: you will never reach that level that you will think of waking up your sleeping brain. When amrita will come – it will make you live up to 10000 years. And see the world pass by.
